There are lots of ways to get involved with the Party.
Every successful campaign requires a team of passionate people. That’s why we rely on people like you to lend us a pair of helping hands.
The opportunities to get involved are limitless. We require help with various campaign-related jobs- leafleting, canvassing, envelope-stuffing, providing transport for elderly and the immobile on an election day. There is no age limit and you don’t have to have the experience to help us out.
You also choose how much time you are willing to volunteer and what jobs you are comfortable with.
We also welcome members who simply want to support the Conservative Party by giving a subscription: Membership
To get involved, e-mail our office at [email protected] if you want to find out more.

Become a councillor
Local Councillors are elected by the community to decide how the council should carry out its various activities. They represent public interest as well as individuals living within the ward.
They have regular contact with the general public through council meetings, telephone calls or surgeries. Surgeries provide an opportunity for any ward resident to go and talk their councillor face to face and these take place on a regular basis. Some Councillors conduct walking surgeries and will knock on doors in a different area each month,
Councillors are not paid a salary for their work, but they do receive allowances. By law, all members of the Council are required to complete a declaration of interest form, the details of which are published annually.
