Greg Hands MP spoke at Rob Wilson's recent Portcullis Club lunchtime seminar and local business people had the chance to quiz both Mr Hands and Rob Wilson on key economic issues.
The Portcullis Club provides a forum for local business people to hear the views of influential policymakers and to put questions on key economic and business matters. It's a valuable opportunity to discuss crucial business issues affecting Reading’s economy with your MP and other business people.
The third event of 2012 was on Friday 21 September and the discussion surrounded important topical issues including procurement and government contracts, business growth, employee ownership of businesses and a wide range of taxation issues.
Rob said: “The Portcullis Club events provide an excellent forum for business leaders from all types of business to question key policy makers, who, along with myself, will listen to their views and feed them back to Government colleagues. It is crucial that we have a thriving business community in Reading.”
If you run a local business and are interested in attending these events please contact Rob's constituency office on 0118 3759785 or email [email protected] for further information. There is no charge for attendance.
