The final phase of consultation on Reading’s Local Transport Strategy 2036 began earlier this month, including a series of schemes and initiatives to combat the poor air quality and congestion affecting parts of the town. Plans include a third Thames crossing, a North Reading Orbital route, Demand management, including a workplace parking levy, road user charging and active travel.
We know that some of you have already raised concerns about many of these items. It is important that you take part in the consultation, so your views are heard.
